Holiday Stuffing
Whether you call it stuffing or dressing, this Thanksgiving staple recipe won't disappoint!
Makes 8 servings
Ingredients:
1/2 loaf of gluten-free bread
2 Tbsp WayFare Butter
1 red onion, diced
4 stalks celery, sliced
3 carrots, sliced
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp ground thyme
1 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
1 cup water
1 vegetable bouillon cube
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the bread pieces on a baking sheet and bake for a
few minutes, until the bread is dry. Put the toasted bread into a giant mixing bowl.
2. Melt the WayFare Butter in a stockpot and sauté the onion, celery, carrots,
bouillon cube, and spices over medium heat until the onion is translucent.
3. Add the raisins (or cranberries), parsley, and water to the onion mixture,
stir and pour onto the dried bread. Mix well. Transfer the stuffing to n 8 x 8 or larger baking pan.
4. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
